Cassie’s journey to public accounting didn’t start like most. She had planned to open a bakery, but after taking (and excelling at) a few accounting classes, she felt compelled to work with numbers instead of dough. She hasn’t looked back since.
In 2017, Cassie joined JAK as a staff accountant. She uses her creativity and knack for problem solving to help clients see the big picture of their finances. With previous experience that includes working in a small CPA firm, being a jack-of-all-trades for a big-box retailer, and handling the accounts receivable of a nonprofit, Cassie has seen it all—and applies this perspective to her clients’ projects.
Cassie has long been an advocate for random acts of kindness, and she does her best to live this philosophy each day. In addition to volunteering for the Salvation Army, she is board member for a nonprofit called Northeast Senior Services. She enjoys baking (of course!), crafting, painting, and hanging out with her son.
