As JAK strives to protect our clients security, we have established two options when sending and retrieving secure documents. The Client Portal and JAK ShareFile.
The Client Portal is configured by JAK and will give the client security credentials to access their portal. Think of the Client Portal as a secure cloud based file folder in which the client and JAK can upload, download and view documents at anytime. This option is best if JAK and our client are consistently exchanging and viewing documents. If you have questions about using the portal, please call our office at 651-641-1099.
The JAK ShareFile integrates with our email client and allows our staff to have secure individual, cloud based file folders in which our clients can upload documents to a specific JAK staff member. That specific JAK staff member will receive an email notification when a document is uploaded alerting them to retrieve that document. JAK staff members can also securely email documents via ShareFile to our clients. When a document is sent, the recipient will receive an email notification to view a web version of the document which can be downloaded. This option is best for short term or single time document transfers. ShareFile also has a service to collect electronic signatures called RightSignature.
